I found this article from the New York Times about how the government (U.S.A) is considering placing ads on public buildings and government managed organizations. Most prominently, fire trucks and fire hydrants.

I know we're getting pretty low on cash, but I'm guessing that cutting spending in non-emergency related areas might be the best way to fix local budget crises. What does the mR community think?

I think that I'd hate seeing all the KFC and different foods on firehydrants and firetrucks, it'd make me hungry every time I see one.

eh it's one thing to do this with crap like hydrants, quite another to do it with schoolbuses and police cars as they suggest in the article. It's more acceptable if the company is actually paying for the renovation of the thing, like with these kfc ones.
